Spaghetti Time

I was eating some spaghetti when I felt the need to swat the spoon. Well it was full of tomato sauce and so was I. I decided to give myself a new facial treatment which you can see in these pics. Mom thought it was so funny, she called dad to come in and take a look at me! Dad then ran me a bath and straight to the water I went. I like playing with my food and you should too!

Cake, Who wants Cake!

WOW Who has invented this devilishly good Dessert called Cake and why am I only hearing about it now! Yumm-o It totally beats Gerbers Banana Apple Dessert, sheesh, like you can call that a dessert!

I am getting ready for my official Cake Smash photo shoot and mom thought it would be a good idea to introduce me to my favorite food group Cake. Mom bought a slice from the local bakery and I got a sliver while her and dad (really mom) ate the rest.

Here I am doing my favorite trick, sticking out my tongue and singing at the same time. I love cake is in the melody!

There is no question about it I got mommy's sweet tooth, and I really prefer the chocolate to the vanilla. Now don't get me wrong I will eat the vanilla too, but I would rather have the chocolate. So here is a sneak preview of what is to come. Keep an eye out for my official Cake Smash pics! Oh and I did eventually fall asleep, but it was waaaaaayyy past my bedtime. (wink wink) I LOVE CAKE, I LOVE CAKE, I LOVE CAKE... That is what I would be singing while running if I could for at least an hour!

10 months old

Well Mommy is a little late posting my 10 month photos, but hey she got them before I am 11 months! haha Anyhoo, here I am playing with my new favorite toy, Mommy's curtains. I love to jump on the couch and pull her fringe-y curtains. They tickle my nose and make me laugh.
You would wonder how I would come across such a lovely play thing, Dad was nice enough to show me how much fun these curtains were and I am glad he did. Mom only had to put the curtain rod back up once! Not too shabby!
As you can see below I am attempting to walk. It is a lot of work and I would rather just crawl around with the dogs. Speaking of dogs, I like to stick my tongue out and pant like them. Mom says I am her little actor, I fake cough, fake cry, pant, wheez like I have asthma - on cue, flex my muscle and a few other quirky things. Guess I am a ham like Daddy!

Watch Out World, I am Walking

Sweet as a Peach

During our backsplash project, I took a break to try my first piece of real peach. Hmmm it was so good and slimy. I mostly wanted to play with it on my tray and fingers, but I eventually got a little bit in my mouth.
I can't wait to try some new things. I have also tried spaghetti with beef and it wasn't bad. But mommy said her's taste better than Gerber's.

Tiling a backsplash

Welcome to tiling 101 with your host Chase E. Powell. Today folks we are going to tackle a much needed accent to our lovely kitchen here at the Powell residence. I have enlisted my two assistants to take on this project, Nana and Mommy. I will supervise the project and do a little window cleaning of my own.

While Nana and Mommy get ready to go, I will go ahead and get the tile and goop ready for them.

Lets see, this tile box is a little stuck...errrrr There we go my muscle are hard at work!

Look at me mommy, look how strong I am.... Oh photo opp....CHEESE!

Alright I well since I got my assistants started on that project, I will take over the window cleaning job.

Baker came over to see how I was doing, I love Baker, he makes me laugh!

Ok back to cleaning, for this folks you don't need those fancy window cleaners or rags. A simple lick will do the trick!

And for the polishing effect, simply press your face against the window and smoosh your whole face to deliver what I call the piggy treatment. Sure to keep your windows fresh and smudge free for days.

And here is one side of the kitchen all finished! I would like to thank my assistants Nana and mommy for a job well done!
