Rain Rain Go Away

I survived my first Tropical Storm, I can't say the same for mom and dad. The dogs and I got a little bit of cabin fever and drove them batty! Luckily it was just a big rain event except for one big giant squall that ripped through our neighborhood.

And of course it came at 1 o'clock in the morning, woke up the whole house. And I kept them up long after it had past. It was so rainy and windy that I couldn't get my beauty sleep, so I figure no one should either!

I passed the time away by crawling around and playing with anything in sight. One of my favorites right now are the dog bowls and shelf.

Ohhh they are so much fun, and tasty too! The sliding door taste ok, but the blinds hmmmmm yumm-o.

I stand up whenever I can, it won't be long before I am walking.

Wait what is this on the fridge.... stretch...ohhh I almost got it..

There success! But wait mommy I want to play with that.

9 months

I have been out of mommy's tummy almost as long as I was in there! Since my coming out party I have learned so much. My newest skill is shaking my head No! On my last visit to see Kaylee, she was nice enough to show me how. I also like to clench my fist and flex my muscles while mom is feeding me dinner! Look how big my muscles are getting.

I babble here and there but really like to sing/scream... It isn't a cry scream, more like I like to see how high of an octave I can go. Really I am speaking to the dogs in a pitch they can understand. I am just about 19 pounds, and I have 6 teeth!
Crawling on the floor is one of my favorite activities and hurdling over the dogs. I am really good at pulling myself up so watch out, I grab onto anything. I keep trying to pull up on the walker but mom gets me before I can completely get up.

Bath time is another favorite, I have a few toys to play with but my all time best friend in there is a blue octopus, not the purple one, but the blue one! As soon as I get in the water I must have it in my hand.... and when you take it away to wash that hand beware of the cry/scream!

I can't wait to see what the next month brings, before you know it I will be the big #1

How to Hook Up a Stereo - and get mad in zero to 60!

Nana and Poppa R came to visit me over the weekend! Poppa and dad thought it would be a good idea to try and hook up the new stereo we got. Of course they couldn't do it without my help. See dad this won't work till you use this wire.

Well since I fixed that problem, Dad and Poppa got to take a nap. I then got to play with Nana while mom tried out her new lens.

Look Nana what I can do.... I can go from happy...to ticked off...to happy again in the matter of seconds!

Ah...that is all I needed to make me smile again is a kiss from Nana

Much better now

Now I am all smiles and ready for my close up! Cheeeese

With all the excitement of helping put together the stereo and playing with Nana, I didn't take my afternoon nap. Not sooner did Nana pull out of the driveway I finally crashed. I couldn't keep my eyes open any longer and took a quick siesta in my favorite spot! And no daddy wasn't alone, mommy was there too, but she didn't want to wake me for I would be a cranky monster again. And Nana had left with all her happy kisses.

Happy Birthday KAI

My cousin Kai's birthday is on the 11, but we celebrated a little early this year! He is so much older than I am he is turning the BIG 4.

They came to Grandma D's house and we all had pizza, cake and went swimming! It was so much fun. Before the festivities began we all started dancing and jumping on Grandma and Grandpa's couch. That little green toad sings a song with lyrics ...... Everyone Jump, Jump and we did! Mya was showing me how to get some serious air like Kai!

After pizza it was cake time, and Kai got to cute his own cake...hmm it looked so good, mommy gave me turkey, green beans and a few banana puffs as my desert! Just so you know mom, I am getting some cake at my birthday party and that is that.

Kai got lots of nice presents, but I think the best one was from ME! I got him a black monster truck and a Monster Truck Jam Arena! We played with it after Uncle Scott got it put together.

Dad and I hung for a bit and watched Kai and Mya do all kinds of crazy jumps.

Mya was striking a pose for mom in her new goggles. Quack Quack

Kai swam without his floaty for the first time and did a real good jump. Mya got a new floaty and you can see in these picture

I eventually made it in my little pool. Which is fine for me, it has my favorite blue ball to chew on in it.
