This Just In....

I am famous, well locally and with my family! The Miami Herald did an article about this website!! A reporter interviewed mommy and came to take our picture. The article is posted on two websites and got printed in last Saturday's paper. How cool is that. We weren't sure that the article was going to run in the paper. On Saturday my Great Uncle Jack called Grandpa D and said that he saw us in the paper. Mom is so proud, I think she went out and bought every paper in the city.

Below are links to the articles, not sure how long they will stay up, but check them out!!!

5 months

I can't believe it has been five months since I left mom's belly! Mom and Dad can't believe it either. I am 14.5 lbs and 25.5 inches long! I could use a little more weight on me, but don't worry, Mom said we are starting solids on Sunday. Not sure exactly what a green bean is but I will let you know next week.

Can you believe that it was cold on March 24th. Good thing my Aunt Alyssa got me a FSU sweatsuit, and look, it fits just great! I am able to sit up with a little help from the couch. Not able to completely sit by myself but I am doing my crunches to get there. I am however starting to prop myself up on my knees, I like to fake mom out by pretending I am going to start to crawl. She grabs the camera and I push my legs out. It is another game we like to play.

We had to say goodbye to our little girl Lexy, well she was 91 in dog years. She will be missed. Mom and Dad decided that the house was too empty with us and Baker so off we went to the Humane Society.

Meet our new addition to the family! His name is Copper. Copper is one month younger than me exactly! We are both teething, and I like to share my teething rings with him. He brings me his bone to share but mom snatches it up before I can bring it to my lips.
Baker is so happy to have a little buddy to run and play with. They love to play a game with Daddy, they call it "How many holes can we dig together." Mom caught the game in action and took this picture as evidence.

The picture of Baker is what I see right before a drive by licking! I love to watch Baker and Copper play. Mom says they are my emergency babysitters. If I am being fussy all they have to do is come up and say hi and I am laughing. Mom thinks I might become a veterinarian because I love to watch them so much.

It can't possibly still be Easter?

Yes more Easter Pics! Mommy got a new camera and wanted to finish up the Easter Shoot, so here they are. I am ready to move on to the next holiday already. I almost half smiled because I love to be naked and on crushed velvet to boot!!

Here is my Easter outfit, I am looking pretty suave, I must say. Oh look a Easter basket, mom says there are Eggs in there but who needs eggs when you have this glorious green plastic stuff. I was so consumed by this wonderful plastic grass that I didn't even look at mommy. Must get plastic grass and put in mouth. I love that I can control my arms now, it makes it so easy to get things for me to taste.

Once I got a hold of the green stuff and was about to eat it mom ended the photoshoot. That was easy, but I didn't mind it, I wanted the green stuff.

Everybody Jump Jump

Whooo hoooo Look at me, I can hop hop hop like a frog! Guess what, these things that connect my feet to the rest of me are called Legs. These legs are awesome, I can use them to hop up and down. I started jumping up and down on mommy's lap, well pretty soon she told dad that it was his turn, that her arms had a workout! Dad held me while I jumped and soon he tired out, but not me! I love to hop on these legs! So mom and dad went out and bought me a Jumparoo! Yeeaaah I love it. I hopped so much that I got a tiny blister! But that didn't bother me none I kept on going. Mom made me stop and put a band aid on. I quickly let her know that I didn't want to stop hopping.

The jumparoo has become mom's favorite too, hopping takes so much energy that it makes me sleepy. So after I have had enough hopping we get a bath, read a book and a bottle. Not long after that I am ready for bed. Ribbit Ribbit - that is see you later in frog :)

Hoppy Easter

Here are the Egg Photos mom took. Nana was in town this weekend and helped mom out. I wasn't feeling too hot and didn't crack a smile. Nana and mom sure tried hard but I held out and smiled when the camera was off!

Easter was this weekend and I got to see my cousins Kai and Mya. The Easter bunny came to Grandma & Grandpa D's house. He left a bunch of eggs filled with coins and Sponge Bob's Crabby Patties! We all went around the yard for the Easter Egg hunt, it was so much fun! The Easter bunny left me a Quarter, a whole quarter! Do I save it like mommy would or do I run out and spend it like Daddy? hmm There are a few new bottles I have been eyeing.

Kai found an egg and gave it to me, that was so nice. Mya got a beautiful pink boa and wore it all day. My Duckie Easter basket looked so good that I thought it might taste good. Later we had a BBQ for Daddy's graduation.

Kiss Me I'm Irish

Green is everywhere today! As promised here are my latest and greatest photos. You can Kiss me cause I am Irish. Grandpa D was born in Ireland so that makes me 25% Irish?!?
Not sure really how the percentage thing works but that is my best guess. Hope everyone has a super Grandpa D day.
I love to smile and laugh. Below is a video with me sitting in my walker laughing at mommy. I am off to drink some green formula, have a super St. Patrick's Day!

Quackie Easter

Ok Ok we are a little early with the Easter bit and trust me mom hasn't forgotten about St Patrick's Day either. Those photos coming soon. Who do I need to speak to about this ridiculous month, I mean really two Holidays in one month, much less a week. Come on, you know mom loves the holidays and has tons of costumes for me to wear, I am exhausted. I love the photo shoots we take at home but I really have to draw the line at one holiday a month. Oh well I guess I will let her have her fun, but I am holding out for a super duper Easter Basket!!

Mom, Grandma D. and I went to the mall to see the Easter Bunny, apparently he doesn't work at 9 am so we took our pictures without him. I must say I look pretty darn good sitting in the mall around the large props. hmm Since I am doing this costume thing wonder if I can get a job here.

The video below is Daddy and me playing our Flying Baby Game. It is one of my favorite games to play. I fly around and daddy tries to tickle and get me. I laugh and drool all at the same time. My wingman (mommy) helps me lock onto target (daddy) and drop drool bombs that make daddy squirm and make ewwwwww sounds! Alright I have to go mommy is setting up the St Patrick day shoot in the living room.

4 months old

I have been in the outside world for Four months already. Time is just flying by. Lately I am drooling alot. In fact mom keeps a bib on me when we are at home. If not she has to change my clothes several times. I don't mind the drool, I am too busy singing and laughing.
Let me see, so far I have acquired a few new skill sets.

Can hold my head up high without any help.
Gained control of those floppy out of control arms.
I can melt mommy and daddy's heart with my toothless grin.
Totally mastered the rollover.
Eating with a spoon, I agree with dad I am ready for a chicken leg or a fry at least, mom please.
I am the king of the mullet people. Thats right still going strong!!

And I have Feet! They are so much fun to grab onto. Grandma showed me that I can put them in my mouth! AWESOME I can't wait to discover what other things I can learn about and put in my mouth!

No Dad my cereal isn't Rice Krispies

Mom told dad that I can start to eat a solid called Cereal. Dad asked what I would like to try Rice Krispies or Frosted Flakes? Anything other than formula sounds good to me. Mom laughed and made some rice cereal.
At first I wasn't sure what this object was coming towards me. Mom called it a spoon, Dad calls it a shovel. Once I found out that this so called "spoon" carried mushy goodness I couldn't get enough.

Hurry hurry mommy I want more. Yummmy
Dad made her wait a minute so he could take a picture of my messy face but I wanted more of the mushy goodness! Out of the way daddy I am eating with my big boy spoon.
This picture is me throwing a fit cause Mommy wasn't moving fast enough.

So far I have tried Rice and Oatmeal cereal. I like the Oatmeal cereal better, I am just like dad, we have our oatmeal together. He told me he eats it to help with something called cholesterol, is that a different type of cereal?

Working Hard or Hardly Working

Whew it has been a while since I last posted! The reason is I have been working hard on my hand-eye coordination. I have this super fun playmat that has a lion, giraffe, and duck oh my! Mom lays me down in it and I can now (with great concentration) grab their legs and I pull with all my might to try to get them in my mouth. Still working on the pulls up.

Another bonus is the playmat comes with another kid who looks just like me! He smiles when I smile and laughs when I laugh. Can't figure how he gets in there but we have fun and talk all day long. Mommy played around with photoshop for this photo.

Mom says I am working out building my arm and leg muscles. Must be working cause I am getting to be a pro at rolling myself over from my belly to my back. I can lift the top half of my body now. Next I am working on bringing my knees up to my chest. I try my hardest to get in position to crawl, but once I am there I haven't figured out how to move. But I must say that I have the form down pat.

Baker lets me practice trying to stand. He lets me pull up and give him hugs. And a little drool mixed in there too! Between Baker and the walker I am sure to moving pretty soon.
Maybe I can convince him for a ride..hmm Or a tow at least in my walker. I bet if he got close enough and I thought really hard I could grab his fluffy tail! Weeeee Mush Baker, Mush
