January 24, 2008

I am officially three months old today! Mommy put me in my awesome overalls to head to Grandma Downs' house for the day! But before we left this morning she took a few pictures! Grandpa Downs says I am a quarter year old! He is in tax season mode, apparently Grandpa and mommy are working on Payroll Returns for this quarter.

I started my morning off at 2:00 am bottle, then went back to sleep till 5:45 am. Then I snacked a little and made mommy realize that she was up for the day. After my little snack I fussed until mommy finally let me watch TV. We watched the news for a little bit, then I got to play on my new tummy time playmat Aunt Patricia, Uncle Scott, Kai and Mya got me for Christmas. I don't have a picture just yet, this morning was my first time on it. But I will get one up soon.

Well I am off to play with Grandma. Everybody have a super day cause it is my Quarter Birthday!!

Happy Birthday to my Nana Rider

Happy Birthday to you... Happy Birthday to Nana...Happy Birthday to you! Nana came over to visit and brought me a walker! My feet don't hit the ground just yet but I will be ready to roll pretty soon! Lexy and Baker better watch out, I will be ready to chase them.

I was so excited to see Nana that I refused to take a nap. Mommy and Nana tried so hard to get me to sleep but I will have none of that mess. I wanted to stay up and play. We had lunch and I got to help Nana blow out some candles on the cake!

But not soon after Nana left I feel asleep on mommy. I have been pretty drooly lately and as you can see in the picture I drenched mom's shoulder. I slept so good that night, I woke up only once. In fact, mommy didn't want to wake me to change into my pj's, so I ended up sleeping in my onesie all night. It was pretty dirty when I woke up, again all the drool that has come about.

Happy New Year!! Party in my Crib

Whew New Years Eve was a blast. Mommy and Daddy traded in their bottles of Booze for Bottles of Formula this year! I didn't want them to miss out on the New Year I made sure to wake them up around 1 am for another bottle of formula. I wasn't ready to stop drinking! BYOB has a new meaning to them.
Can you believe I will be three months old soon! Mommy says her little boy is growing up. I am trying my hardest to sit up. I am doing ab crunches. I have finally gained control of those floppy arms! And I can now put my hole hand in my mouth. I am still trying to figure out how the thumb works, I want my thumb not pacifiers.

I hope everyone had a safe and happy new year! I am excited for all the new things I will learn in the next year. Now I have to run and get another bottle! Cheers.

Christmas with my family

I had Christmas that lasted from Christmas Eve to January 20th! So here are some of my favorite Pics from the holidays.

Here is dinner on Christmas Eve with Nana and Poppa Rider. I kept smiling at Nana making her laugh. We had a super Yummy dinner, although the Cake didn't make it. Mommy tried to move the rack in the oven up without taking the cake off. Well down it slid and dumped the cake batter all down the back of the oven! Mommy said a bad word, which I think Daddy got on tape! Silly mommy, good thing she had made fudge earlier!
Nana Rider made shirts with me on them! How perfect and I must say I look pretty good. Of course Pa-Pa Downs had to take it with our Harley rags on.

Here are my GREAT Grandparents! Great Grandma rocked me to sleep all the time, I loved it. Great Grandpa played with me on his lap everyday, he made me laugh.

Here is my Christmas in January! Patricia, Kai and Mya got home from Brazil! Aunt Cindy Lou and Patricia are on the left, Kai and Mya were there, but I didn't get a pic with them. hmmm I see a photo shoot in the near future Aunt Patricia. Uncle Wes and Aunt VA are on the right! We had such a great Christmas in January. And I got more Great Gifts! I love this holiday called Christmas. I hope all of you had a wonderful Christmas.

HO HO HO

Merry belated Christmas Everyone! Mom has been busy putting Christmas presents away and working on something called W-2's at work, so she apologizes for being so late in posting! Here I am in my Christmas photoshoots and Santa came to Grandma Downs' house to see me!

On Christmas day I hung out in my reindeer hat and slippers Aunt Alyssa got me!

I told Santa that I had been a very good boy and that I wanted lots of goodies for Christmas! And he really did listen, I got so much great stuff mommy is still putting it away.

Mommy was really friendly with Santa, in fact if you look at our profiles, I kind of look like Santa. Dad missed Santa, mommy said he was getting something out of the car. Maybe he will catch him next year.
