Olympic Gold - well maybe Goldfish

With the upcoming Olympics, it made me start to think about introducing a new event. My baby olympic event will be....drum roll please........****Jumping on your bed, while trying to bite your crib rail********

Our first contestant is Chase Powell, the crowd cheers as he starts to make his way down the crib mattress towards the crib rails. One hand grasp the side, the other swings around and grabs the rail... The crowd grows silent as he slowly pulls himself up to the top rail.... You can see teeth marks from previous attempts....

Second foot up and he is officially standing, he licks the rail to make sure it is good to go... liking the taste he giggles and launches off the bed in a jumping frenzy.....

The crowd goes wild....with barking....the dogs are his biggest fans and audience... :) He sizes up the rail, while continuing to jump and tries to chew the rail.... Boom, clunk, chew, bite down... oh no he missed the rail and bites his tongue! ahhhhhhhh the audience howls as our champion screams. His coach (Mommy) rushes in and swepts him in to medical (Daddy), after quick look to see how bad it is...Chase starts to laugh. Phewwww that was a close one and scared mommy.

But Chase the champion refuses to give up on his dream and immediately goes back practicing for his olympic event! Oh Chase please give Mommy a night to catch her breath...
