7 Months

Over the weekend I celebrated my 7 month birthday. Mom didn't bake a cake, but she did cook Me up something special!










I have a few new ingredients to add to my achievements. I can sit up all by myself! Another great skill is grabbing things. Mommy calls me her Grabby Crabby, because I am also cutting teeth too. But you will see that later.







I am eating a variety of baby food now, veggies and meats are my favorite. For breakfast I still like my cereal and oatmeal.








I haven't started crawling just yet, but that isn't too far away. Mom and Dad keep trying to get me to, I fake them out by moving one hand and leg, but then I flatten out like a pancake. I can scoot from one end of the blanket to the other.




I can't talk in grown up language but I am babbling. Mom and Grandma are teaching me baby sign language, I totally know the one for Milk. They do that before I see the bottle and I get so excited I lose control of my arms and legs, they just flail about.






What would a wood chuck do if a wood chuck could chuck wood?!? I have started to twist my tongue side to side. Someone told me that it is a genetic trait, well come to find out mom and dad can do it too, so I guess they both gave it to me!
