34 weeks, 8 1/2 months!

I decided last week to play a trick on mom and dad, and make them think I was going to make my big debut. But I decided at the last minute that I wasn't quite ready to come on out just yet. But it gave mom and dad a crash course in Labor and Delivery procedure.

I am 5 pounds 4 ounces, according to the ultrasound tech and healthy as can be. This week I will be packing on the pounds. Speaking of packing, I overheard mom and the nurses laughing at what dad picked out for her hospital bag. Apparently cute, small and lacey isn't something you should pack for a pregnant woman to wear home after delivery. Hey I don't know what she is complaining about, I would have gone home naked! Ah that is ok Dad you did great under the circumstances. When mom got released she made sure to pack some stuff for us, this was just a trial run.

I am still keeping mom close to her best friend Tums, which anyone reading this should take stock in. The consumption is going through the roof!

Dad starts the police academy next week, and we are all excited for him. It has been a long haul but finally he is going to start, although he will miss his fellow workers in dispatch. They were so nice and surprised dad with a party. They had cake and gifts for me! Thank you everyone.

I will see you all real soon, sometime between now and 6 weeks.

August Supper Club Baby Shower!!

Mommy's Supper Club for August threw daddy and her a baby shower. The host Nikki put so much work into it and all the food everyone brought was fantastic!

Not only did I find out that I love Cajun/New Orleans style food, we played some super fun games. Mommy and I really love the supper club and I can't wait to meet all her friends in person. I wonder if they will have a baby food dinner one month!

Thank you all for wonderful evening and great gifts. I look forward to seeing you all soon.

9-12-07 3-D Ultrasound Pics

I decided to cooperate yesterday for my last photo shoot. Here is me at 8 months plus a few days.

It might look like I have hair, but we all know better with mom and dad's genes I will be a blonde peach fuzz for a long time.

On the right is a picture of me sucking my thumb and my other hand is up there too. This isn't the best photo, but I wanted to show everyone I love to suck my thumb. It almost looks like I am pinching my nose saying peee ewww.
Here on the left I am kissing my arm. Grandmas' I am practicing this for you. Get ready for all the love and kisses you can handle.
I did another sommersault and facing head down today, but mom don't get use this, I will keep you guessing up until the last moment! Mom has at least 3 1/2 weeks left in bed and then hopefully her doctor will let her get moving again! So I guess I will be seeing everyone between now and 8 weeks the latest!

32 weeks today - that is 8 months!

Whooo hooo I am 8 months along and going strong. Mom and her doctors are trying to keep me locked up in here for another few more weeks before my big debut. I am giving them a run for their money though. I have decided that I like doing somersaults in mom's belly and can't decide if I want to stay head down or sit straight up. I will keep them guessing till the last minute or at least till I get too big to practice my gymnastics. Either position I am able to get my leg lift and kicks done. Is that a foot, hand or my butt, is a game I like to play with mommy.

Before I talk more about me, I want to send a big giant Welcome Home to my fellow wombie Kaylee Ann Yarnall. She is making her big debut this weekend, her mommy and daddy are super excited to be meeting her. I will be seeing you soon sweetheart, I want the low down on how the outside world is treating you!

This week I am packing on the pounds (so is mommy) Thanks Grandma Downs for the emergency Pecan Pie, catastrophe averted. I am not sure of my exact weight but if according to the norm I should be around 4 pounds and a little over. I now have toenails, fingernails, and real hair (or at least respectable peach fuzz). My skin is becoming soft and smooth as I plump up in preparation for birth.

I have been gracious enough to reintroduce mommy to her best friend Tums. Heartburn is my way of telling mommy I care, amazing enough you can get heartburn from just a glass of water! Who knew.

So long for now, it is time to have mommy get us some pecan pie and a few tums as dessert.
