Check out my new Crib

Grandma and Grandpa Rider came over last Saturday and helped Daddy put together my new bed and dresser! Grandma cooked a awesome lunch of Chicken n Dumplings. I like this new food called Chicken n Dumplings. I made mommy eat it for the next few days. Grandma also taught mom how to crochet while she is at home helping me grow.

Mom decided to make a blanket for me and it is coming out pretty good so far. This is her second attempt, since the first one got a little help from Baker. Mommy left the yarn with the work in progress on the couch one night. Well my buddy Baker thought he would help out with the project too and brought the yarn back to his bed. Well I guess he forgot the partial blanket on the couch, cause the yarn stretched from the couch all the way down the hallway to his bed. No big deal, mom started over and now the holes line up as they should.

Thanks to both sets of Grandparents for my awesome new bed and dresser. Grandma Rider helped mom put all my new cloths in the dresser already! I am excited to see my new room.
Here is Lexy too, don't want her to feel left out of the blog!

30 weeks

Whooo Hoooo I am 30 weeks! Only 10 more weeks to go if I decide not to come early, which I am still thinking about. Daddy is finishing up last minute projects and keeping mommy happy with a fresh supply of chocolate cookies.

I am driving mommy crazy by trying to stand up when she is laying on her side. I am getting really strong and can push off the bed and raise my booty in the air! Mommy moans and tries to get me to unlock my legs.

I had my second case of hiccups the other night, Dad tried to feel them but I like to get really quiet when he puts his hand on mommy's tummy.

I should be about 3lbs or a little more this week and if you put a flashlight up to her tummy I would be able to see it. Although my eyesight isn't that great, once I am out of here I will only be able to see a few inches in front of my face for a little bit.

Say Cheese

Hello World! Here is my first recognizable photos from inside the womb. I am not really too fond of having my picture taken. Mommy tells me to get use to it, because for the rest of my life I will have a camera around somewhere.

I like to make the nurse work a little harder than normal to get the money shot! Also I think it is a great time to play hide and seek around the placenta! Haha You can't see me.

Anyways I finally gave mommy and daddy a few pictures. Mommy and the nurse immediately said I looked like daddy! Sorry mom, I got dad's good looks.

I am being as good as I can in here and giving mommy some required rest in bed. Hope you like the pictures, hopefully a few more to come next week.

To Chase from Grandpa Downs

We are all waiting for your big day
When you come out so we will play

I'll hold you tight, with lots of love
After mommy gets done with one last push and shove

You will meet Kai, Mya, Baker and Lexy too
Mommy and Daddy have a new room for you

Mommy is ready, to think otherwise is ludicrous
She is very happy, except for her irritable uterus

Cookies and shakes is what mommy ate
If she keeps this up, she will be worried about her weigh....(ah?)...... complexion

We are all excited to see your face
We are already in love with our little Chase.

27 Weeks!!

Hello Everyone! Well this week I am 27 weeks and counting. I am starting to get big, I should be getting to almost 2 pounds and about 15 inches long! I still enjoy chocolate chip cookies and realize that I already have a brand preference. Tollhouse Ultimate Chocolate chip cookies are far superior than the mix of Duncan Hines and Betty Crocker. You just can't beat the three different types of chocolate. Oh, mom and dad like them too. I got my first set of hiccups this week, mom didn't feel them, but you could hear them! At mom's doctors appointment they have a giant microphone they put on her belly for me to speak into.

Mom and Dad started their "Child Preparation Course" this week. Dad survived the first birthing video pretty good. Before it started he asked the instructor if it was gory and she replied no, not this one. So the next class will be the big labor class with all the videos they can handle. Dad wasn't the only one nervous about the video or labor, another father asked about fainting in the delivery room!

Well I am off to practice opening and closing my eyes for this week's task. Only 91 days to go till my big day!

Make sure to check back next week I am having my 3-D photo shoot on Wednesday! Mom will surely post those for everyone to see who I look like so far.

My New Room

Here are pictures of the work in progress on my Nursery. Grandma Joan came over and helped mom paint the room!

Dad then worked really hard on installing closet doors and baseboards.

Mom is still working on the mural but should have it done soon. The finished pictures will be posted a little later.

Rider Family Baby Shower

Here are just a few pictures of Rider Family Baby Shower... Not to many Rider's in the photos, but they were there! Grandma Joan and Grandpa Bill had so much food for us to eat! Chicken and Ribs just melted off the bone. Aunt Lana made her yummy bread and mac n cheese! Aunt Lindsay helped Grandma get the shower all ready and decorate. The whole house looked amazing an we all had so much fun. You won't believe all the goodies Mom and Dad came home with for me! Dad is going to have some fun putting all the pieces together.

Here are my two cousins Nicholas and Carson. Can't wait to meet them and have a slumber party at Grandma and Grandpa Rider's house! Callie and Ashley watch out there will be three boys to run from!

Here is dad and Aunt Lindsay.
Lori and Rich were able to come by and bring a fellow "wombie" Kaylee Ann. Mom and Lori are already thinking wedding bells for us. Easy mom, how about I share a binky first.

Last but not least, here is my Grandma Joan and Grandpa Bill. Thank you so much for all the hard work you went to for the shower! Mom and Dad had so much fun! Especially thanks for sending mommy and me home with the rest of the yummy cake. We polished off the rest in about two days, I don't think daddy even got a lick.

6 months preggo

Here is mommy stricking a pose. No more sucking in the tummy!

Grandpa can you hear me? Mom needs a raise, or a least give me a chocolate chip cookie!

Ode to Mommy's Belly Button

Here is a little poem mommy wrote when she was goofing off at work! Shhh Don't tell Grandpa.

Oh bellybutton, so cute and an innie.
Attached at one time to a somewhat flat tummie

Long gone are the days of having to worry about bellybutton fuzz
For now you are getting shallow and causing quiet a buzz

Soon you will look like a turkey thermometer top
Just how long is it before you finally pop

It feels like the baby inside is poking it with his finger
He is definitely his father's son, don't let that thought linger

Oh bellybutton of mine
After the baby comes will you be fine

I hope to one day see you again as an innie
Attached to once again a somewhat flat tummie
